Former Ambassador of Djibouti to Japan Ahmed Araita Ali, visited Kyoto University.

On June 21 , 2023 , Former Djibouti Ambassador to Japan Ahmed Araita Ali visited Kyoto University. Professor Motoki Takahashi, Program-Specific Lecturer Fumitaka Wakamatsu, and Assistant Professor Kae Amo from Graduate School of Asian and African Area Studies attended the meeting. During the meeting, opinions on the current status and future potential of academic cooperation between the Djibouti university and Kyoto University had exchanged, as well as methods of university collaboration between Japan and Djibouti regarding the formation of a platform through the Inter-University Exchange Project. Professor Oussouby Sacko, a former president of Kyoto Seika University, very kindly assisted the two sides to get together with each other.
