Prof. Takahashi, IAfP representative, presented the IAfP Platform project at the General Assembly of the Japan-Africa University Network (JAAN) (March 15, 2023).

On March 15, 2023 (Wednesday), the 2022 General Assembly of the Japan-Africa University Network (JAAN) was held in a hybrid format at the Tokyo Office of Kyoto University and online. IAfP representative Prof. Motoki Takahashi participated and presented the future of the platform project of the Inter-University Exchange Project (Africa). An explanation was given on matching support, focused on the IAfP Secretariat through collaboration with the World Bank and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). JAAN member universities lively proposed the ways to strengthen the network with African universities.

Based on the day’s discussion, the IAfP Secretariat will reinforce collaborations with many domestic universities, including JAAN member universities.
