1. Privately-financed international students who are newly accepted to the Gofuku campus as per the academic exchange agreements of the University and not receiving scholarship funding from private organizations, etc., are eligible to apply.
2. Privately-financed international students (including those moving from an undergraduate to a Master’s program or from a Master’s to a doctoral program) admitted to a graduate school on the University of Toyama’s Gofuku or Takaoka campuses that meet the following requirements may apply.(a)Enrolled in a regular program(b)Recommended by an academic adviser(c)Not receiving any other scholarships (50,000 yen or more per month)(d)Total annual funds available to a family member with a single income that do not exceed the amount of scholarships disbursed to government-sponsored international students (graduate-level international students)

1. Those who have difficulty paying tuition due to financial reasons and who are recognized as having excellent academic performance.
2. In the event that the tuition bearer dies, or the person or the tuition bearer suffers a disaster such as wind and flood damage within 6 months before the payment of the tuition fee.
